Welcome
to the Aircraft Partnership Association!
Sharing aircraft has a long and venerable history. The very first airplane was shared between Wilbur and Orville Wright! Since then, tens of thousands of aircraft have been shared by individuals and businesses. Sharing aircraft is a time-tested method which not only dramatically reduces flying costs, it enables flying a variety of aircraft for different missions at far lower costs.
Why Sharing Aircraft WorksSolely-owned aircraft are frequently underutilized. Pilots flying themselves for recreation and business average well under100 hours per year of flight time. There are 8,766 hours in a year! Typically, even an unusually busy shared aircraft flies only 2-5 hours out of every 100.
